A Lifelong Passion for Beef

I have been immersed in the cattle and beef industry my whole life. Growing up on our family farm, I was fortunate to enjoy beef that we raised ourselves—beef with a distinct quality and flavor that comes from being "straight from the farm." Our herd consists of purebred Charolais as well as a commercial Angus herd.

When I took on the responsibility of running our operation — Nelson Farms — I knew I wanted to offer the same high-quality beef to our community that’s been part of our family’s tradition for generations. I’m excited to extend our farm's offerings and contribute to our local food system by providing a farm-fresh, high-quality product that brings people closer to the source of their food. Our cattle are grain-finished and dry-aged for 14 days.

I’m incredibly proud to bring Feast Local to the St. Cloud community as a source for high-quality beef straight from the beef producer! I’m committed to offering beef that’s not only fresh and flavorful but also locally sourced, USDA-inspected, and raised with the same dedication and craftsmanship that has been a legacy of our farm for decades. As a BQA-certified rancher and a graduate of the Masters of Beef Advocacy program, I take pride in the quality of every cut we offer.

I look forward to continuing to serve the community with premium, farm-fresh beef and expanding our offerings in the future, including lamb, chicken, and pork., as I continue to work toward strengthening our local food system.
